Broker in VT/NH since 1980. John graduated from Hartford High School and the University of Vermont in 1971. In addition to many years of Real Estate and Insurance continuing education, John has earned his G.R.I., a Legal and Paralegal studies graduate certificate (2004), and a graduate certificate in Applied Conflict Studies (2006).
Since 1980 he has been a real estate associate, broker, sales manager and broker/owner of four different agencies.
Married to Pat Clerkin (recently retired-served as a real estate agent in our office for over 30 years) since 1980. The Clerkins have three daughters, three sons-in-law, four granddaughters and three grandsons. They currently live in White River Junction.
John has served as president of the Windsor County Board of Realtors, past president and director of the MLS (now NNEREN), and was Realtor of the Year in 1986.
In addition to professional service, John has served as a Hartford Selectman, Justice of the Peace, Grand juror, , Agent to Prosecute and defend suits and from 2007-2010 was elected and served in the State of Vermont House of Representatives. Currently he is serving as the Town Treasurer of Hartford, VT.

Alex is married to his wife Candice and they have four children together . Daughter Olivia, sons AJ, Jacob, and Austin.
He and his family reside in White River Jct. and his children attend Hartford schools . Alex is a lifelong sports fan and participant of many baseball, softball , football and hockey leagues as well as a volunteer coach and helper for many youth organizations. He loves to watch his children perform with local and school theatre programs and watching them compete in sports and other activities that they are involved with.
He graduated from Lebanon High School and attended Hartford schools for many years prior.
He attended college at Plymouth State for two years. He then started his own business in retail furniture that he operated for 27 years before becoming a fulltime realtor for the Clerkin Agency.
In his spare time, Alex loves to spend time with his family and friends, and vacation on the beach in Maine .
